On April 5th, 2013 the last of three unimaginable days of my life came to be and pass. The first of those three was my wedding day, the second, the passing of my dear Annie and the third, the laying to rest of the body of my sweetheart, my best friend, my helper, my wife, my dearest of dearest, my Annie.

Well, my flight landed; and not only did it land, but it landed right in the middle of a heat wave. I was out with cousin Dan today in historic (and wealthy!) Geneva complete with 35c temperatures (95f).

“How are you doing?”
How am I doing? How am I doing in what, exactly? With regards to how I am doing without my Annie, it’s only been a couple of months since she was called home and away. But it feels like days and decades all at once.
