This evening Annie and I are away for one night while Mom Ruth housesits a very disgruntled Milo!We had a really good night last night and feel refreshed today. The morning got even better following a letter and CD (Gungor’s latest album) in the post from another one of the young guys from Manor Park who is studying ‘up North’ as we say here! We just loved the verse he wrote out on the back of this precious letter from him.
The LORD your God is with you. He is mighty to save, He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love. He will rejoice over you with singing. – Zephaniah 3:17
Music and song has always been a special part of our relationship; Annie and I love listening to it, singing it, talking about it and composing it to the best of the abilities that God has given us. Music is God’s creation and what a great blessing it often is.
But what an all together more wonderful thing it is to consider that the creator of all things delights in His redeemed children so much that He rejoices with song.

Hello both of you,
I am keeping close tabs on you on here,!!! it is so helpful to know just how Annie is doing, Annie, I think about you so often, and you have given us a very personal insight into your daily life…..what must be a very private and emotional rollercoaster of a journey at times, it is lovely to hear when you sleep well, when the pain is controlled and have good days&nights, and I can still see your infectious little grin and eyes lit up when Ryan talks of them 🙂 !!!!
Ryan, Thankyou for your ministry on here! It is wonderful to read of the daily, hourly strength, peace&hope you are both given and of your faith totally resting in the word…..and selfishly…it strengthens me..hugely! It is so challenging to read how you draw on so many parts of Gods word in every situation you find yourselves in and I can just sense that peace that you speak of that floods your souls as you drink from the water of life….Amazing!! The question has come across my mind often as I read your blog..”would I be so prepared,so built up and ready, for the day of trouble were it to come?”…It is so evident that you guys are rooted and established deep in the faith…Praise God. Thankyou for all that you share, and the photos too. I keep Matt posted when I read this each night! LOTS of love xxx
Hope you have an amazing time away! Look forward to hearing all about it! Enjoy xx
